Who in their right mind saw that coming? ![]()
Congrats to the Rangers and the Giants and their fans.

Pitching against Hitting
This series reminds me of the '88 series between the power hitting A's against Hershisher and the Dodgers.
Should be a great series. I do hope SF's bats wake up a little more though.
Enjoy it fellas. ![]()

No doubt TEX pitching is phenomenal. Just that they're better known for their bats.
Game 1 features a 7-0 post season by Cliff Lee against likely starter Lincecum in SF. Imo they need to beat Lee at least once to have a decent chance to win it all.

He only pitched once because the timing didn't allow it when they beat the Rays.
Well they made the Yankees look silly because those overpriced starting pitchers for the Yankees didn't show up.
Game 1 should be Lincecum
Game 2 will likely be Sanchez, personally I'd go with Cain
Game 3 Cain or Sanchez
Bumgarner will probably be used in middle relief.
Thats my opinion.

No doubt about it, the Rangers have all the offensive numbers on their side.
Just I feel its all going to come down to pitching here and timely hitting. Now SF just need Sanchez to grow a pair and pitch the way he did all season. That's why I hope Bochy starts him in Game 2 at home. I don't trust him on the road one bit after his last two starts.

KICKIN I LOVE YOUR COMPARISON AND THE WINNER IS ALWAYS THE BETTER PITCHING...GO GIANTS....PEOPLE REALIZE THE GIANTS DO HAVE THE HOME EDGE....EVEN THOUGH TEXAS HAS BEEN GREAT ON THE ROAD...I SEE A SHORT SERIES MAX 6 GAMES MORE LIKELY 5 WITH GIANTS WINNING IT
