frankly this is a dumb bet to have already placed at this point. The Atlanta/Philly game could well be over before this SFN/SD game starts, and if Atlanta has lost, why does SFN care to win? Their motivation/intensity takes a huge nose dive because they'd be celebrating a post season spot before the game even starts, while SD would be even more energised knowing they have a life even if they lose (allowing them to play looser than they otherwise would).

To anyone wiith a clue, I'd wait and see where Atlanta stands vs Philly before making a bet, around the starting time, of this SFN/SD game

 if the Braves win guess what the Padres and Giants still would want to win, your logic does not make sense, and now re-capping this game I know the line will come out as around or right  at -110 to -120, and for the new hero of this place Robin Hood, I have been a sharp for the last 15 years, I make big selective plays only in certain spots. The line will be lower than I first thought, and yes we sharps do lay juice when needed and when we know the outcome, hell some guys I hang with blindly play DD underdogs in the NBA. good luck.

i have been reading posts here for year. i generally only bet baseball, and when i do, it is the last 2-3 weeks of the year and the playoffs...

IS IT TRUE WHAT DITH SAYS? a two game playoff? i understand it to be other wise...

from what i understand, if atlanta loses and sd wins.... sd gets the west because of the tie breaker.  then sf and altanta play the 1 game playoff.  RIGHT?
