now i have been here before twice this season, and it is always right when i go over the 1000 mark that i end up cutting it in half and having to fight and scrap my way back to where i am...
these are my plays today as i posted in an earlier thread....
dodgers for 100 - mainly a play against volstad rockies for 100 - francis is good at home and cards dont hit lefty's well ( or rightys for that matter )
oakland for 50- cahill is better than cc and at home... hopefully the a's can score some runs cleveland for 50- just a hunch that cj wilson gives up some early runs and the texas bats stay silent
please give me some honest feedback, because i would like to stay over this 1000 mark...
thank you in advance

honestly...how can you say cahill is better than CC?
that is just my opinion... i have won more money betting with cahill and i think that right now he is one of the best pitchers in the AL...
cc is still a good national league pitcher who now is slightly above average in the AL.. he just can't turn in quality start after quality start and has been saved by the yankees bats on many occassions...
just my opinion though...

Don't cancel that Indians bet. You've got a hot team getting 2:1 odds against the slumping Rangers, losers of 4 of 5, which is very typical of an incomplete team after going on an extended winning streak. There should be plenty more Texas losses coming before the All Star break.

I know what you mean Tied, I do this all the time. I am so undisciplined it's not even funny. I build my balance up and then lose it over and over. In the last week I have done it about 4 times. It's just hard to change the way I have bet, but I keep trying. Is there a way to try and be more disciplined? Honestly?

You want some honest feedback? Don't bet 10% of your entire bankroll on one game. What if you go 0-4 tonight? You're down to $700. Many experts and professionals advise never betting more than 5% of your bankroll on any single game, some will say limit it to 2-3%. I know it sounds diffiicult, but you need to remain patient. You won't hit it big, but you won't lose your ass, and you will be able to weather losing streaks. Sometimes it will feel as if you're taking one step forward and two step backwards, but you just need to stay the path, and you will undoubtedly see your bankroll gradually grow.

i start out disciplined at 300 and manage to get to 600 pretty easily, but then getting to 1000 is tough, because when i go from 600 to 400 i tend to want to get it all back at once... amazingly i haven't reloaded since last football season...
i just have been lucky with my all or nothing bets so far this year...
thank you to the many people who have advised me to lower my units... that is tough to do, especially after unloading on the yankees last night...

good luck...your preaching the choir my man. breaking that $1000 mark is one thing, keeping it above 1k and reaching the $2000 mark is a grind...i would advise you to bet with a less % of your bank roll on each bet....your betting 10% of your bank roll on a single bet, try to keep it around 5%...keep it up!
