ST LOUIS vs WASHINGTON

Postseason: 8-3ST LOUIS CARDINALS &#x2B;105This is a pretty big play for me. I&#39;m going with the more experienced and battle tested team. The cardinals know how to win games in the playoffs and after scoring 12 runs last game I think the bats are heating up. STL leads the league in OBP so you know there&#39;s going to be men on base and I don&#39;t really believe in Edwin Jackson he&#39;s very inconsistent. Carpenter is a warrior in the playoffs he&#39;s 9-2. This is the first playoff game in Washington since 1933 so the place will be electric but that could also work for or against the Nats as they may be a little anxious at the plate. I guess we&#39;ll see but I like the Cardinals in this one.

The only problem i see in this one is Carpenter lack of game action this year, yes he is a work horse but i think he could be rusty as hell early and if Was is patient at the plate they could get to him early and often. As for Edwin Jackson i'm not a fan but he has some decent numbers at home. I'm going to respect the fact that Was had the best record in baseball and are playing at home.

major line movement in favor of cards....washington 1st playoff game at home and -110 line??  vegas knows cards can get this game.

&#xD;&#xA;Absolutely the cards can get it done today but the only reason there is line movement is because of Carpenter starting. Carpenter deserves the respect he is getting but i for one don&#x27;t think he can go far in this game due to the fact that he is not in game shape.  WAS doesn&#x27;t get much respect anyway so this is a great statement game for them to show the world that they are the real deal.

I just got the defending WS champs at &#x2B;105 with the pitcher that basically won them that championship and a lineup that can rake 1-8
