Thursday was forgettable, I had 4 late inning losses (8th x 2, 9th x 1, extra innings x 1), the push was under 108 total runs for the day, didn't know it would play such a huge factor, but a Padres 6 run 9th inning really????? I know lots of people had Houston too... what a joke!!
Well, that's baseball sometimes... onto Friday
Cubs (-115) vs. Houston: The rested Cubs welcome in the Houston Astros who are fresh off a 9th inning collapse. I expect them to lay an egg tomorrow and dare I say it... the Cubs take advantage!! Houston is also 9-25 on the road.
Mets (-135) @ LA: The Dodgers have been struggling big time!!! They have dropped 5 in a row and have scored a total of 2 runs in their past 4 games combined. The last person this team probably wants to face is Dickey. I expect Dickey to bounce back nicely and absolute own the weak Dodgers offense tomorrow.
Tigers (-110) @ Tampa Bay: I am not try and over analyze this at all. Verlander has been hot as usual, Price hasn't been that sharp lately. The line is very low because of the match up, ill take the better pitcher and the offense that has been playing better. Tampa is struggling to score runs and Verlander isn't the pitcher they wanna see.
