You should have stuck with your SJP killer instincts.

The San Francisco Giants seem to be in the middle of any trade discussion that involves a right-handed hitter. Yet With the July 31 trade deadline looming, San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy said he will go to battle with this current group of guys.
While the talk of the town in San Fran is what if any additions to the lineup may the Giants be adding in the next week, the focus tonight needs to be on a pitching match up of two red hot pitchers that are leading teams in the playoff stretch.
Giants right-hander Matt Cain is 8-5 with a 2.99 earned run average in 20 starts and has won five of his past six decisions. He is 5-2 in nine trips to the AT&T Park mound this season. Cain has held three of his last five opponents scoreless. In his last five starts he has allowed just eight walks while striking out 31 batters. Cain has also done a terrific job of keeping the ball in the park having allowed just seven home runs in 20 starts this season.
When considering the fact that Milwaukee right-hander pitches in a much more hitter friendly park than Cain he has been just as impressive this season. He enters tonight's game with an 8-3 record and an impressive 3.39 ERA for a starter pitching in Miller Park. Marcum has a fantastic 105-36 strikeout to walk ratio.
The Brewers lineup will be without a couple of key pieces tonight as well they won't have Carlos Gomez in the lineup any time soon after the center fielder suffered a fractured clavicle in Wednesday's 5-2 win in 10 innings against the Diamondbacks.
More importantly though the Brewers will be without its top star LF Ryan Braun who has been given a night off to rest and will be limited to pinch hitting duties.
AT&T Park in San Francisco yields the fewest runs in baseball per game and this one has all the signs of a classic pitchers duel .

Your method doesnt make much sence, if you were a shitty capper to begin with then i could understand. But your not! LOL Your stratagy is like throwing in Bengie Molina in to pinch run in the 9th Inning down by 1 run.

Whats the deal with going to the dentist, i make an appointment and they still make me wait in the waiting room. Of course they try their best to keep me occupied there, year old magazines...Rotton teeth panflit's...... According to a study, the dentist profession has the highest depression rate...which makes sence who really wants to go to a dentist? Now you know how your car feels when your takin it to the autobody shop.

I like the Cubs in this game. They have been struggling as of late but i expect them to turn it around today at home with Carlos Zambrano on the mound. Carlos has faired well against the Astros throughout his career ( 15-8, 2.72 ERA) In his past few season's he has faired well against losing teams. In his last 15 starts vs teams with a losing record is 12-3. Meanwhile the Astros have been awful on the road this season with a record of 16-29. They have lost the last 4 road games. I think the Cubs pull it off today.
PHI - RL (+110) & SD/PHI - UNDER 7.5 (-125) ![]()

I like the Phillies and the under in this game. Cole Hamels has been lights out this season, especially at home. They will take on Cory Luebke and the SD Padres. The Phillies are 5-2 in Hamels last 7 starts. The Padres have not faired well against lefties as of late, losing 7 straight against left handed pitchers. Meanwhile the Phillies have dominated the National League West this season goin 4-0 in their last 4 starts. As for the Under... In Luebke's last 7 starts the under is 5-2. In the Phillies last 10 home games, the under is an unbelievable 8-1-1. Head to head the under is 12-3-1 in the last 16 games. I like the Phillies to win in a low scoring game here.
BOS - ML (-135) ![]()

I like the Red Sox tonight as they take on the Seattle Mariners. At first glance on paper alot of people would go with the Mariners, because ace Felix Hernendez is taking the mound. John Lackey has struggled at times this season. However i think the difference maker is going to be Boston's offence vs Seattles offence. Hernendez is good but can he silence Boston's bats the entire game? Seattle has been awful on the road lately, losing 8 straight. The Red Sox have been the total opposite at home...in their last 28 home games, they've gone an impressive 20-8. In the last 31 meetings in Boston between these two teams, Boston has won 21 of the meetings. I like Boston!
TEX - RL (+105) ![]()

Colby Lewis and Jo Jo Reyes take the mound tonight for the Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays. Lewis has been pitching great lately. In his last 6 starts he is 4-0 with an ERA of 2.36. Combine that with the fact that the Rangers have been the best team in baseball this past month. They have won their last 7 home games. Meanwhile Reyes have been awful this season and i've been able to make some money off his losses lol. I Think the Rangers offence will explode against Reyes tonight, and come out with the win.
