Very cool pregame speech:

I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be. One hundred percent and more

CHC - ML (-140)

I like the Cubs in this game. They have been struggling as of late but i expect them to turn it around today at home with Carlos Zambrano on the mound. Carlos has faired well against the Astros throughout his career ( 15-8, 2.72 ERA) In his past few season's he has faired well against losing teams. In his last 15 starts vs teams with a losing record is 12-3. Meanwhile the Astros have been awful on the road this season with a record of 16-29. They have lost the last 4 road games. I think the Cubs pull it off today.

I'm just waiting for people to unload on Phi. I would say Houston lost that game, rather then Chi won it, looking outside of the obvious. After winning 2 games not being able to score a run with bases loaded early in the game with no outs is a disaster. Luckily I realized this and adjusted accordingly.


SJP that speech was good for a phrase, maybe 2. After that it was a massacre. A champion is humble. Ripping an enemy's heart out and leaving it on the ground sounds a bit psychotic, no?

so let me see if i have this straight...you bet a unit and bought off half before the game started??? that is fucking weak. as a 'live game better' i will buy out depending on what is going on but cutting and running before the game starts??? i truly enjoy reading your columns, thoughts and such but this is total bullshit in my opinion. don't look at everyone else and what they are betting, stick to your guns and win or lose. in this case, you can look back and say it worked but a 500/u bettor would laugh at this shit. good luck to you and your bets but all the fucking sheep that follow you are cussing like hell right now, you can believe that. to all of them, hope you bought it out like your precious leader did.

Yeah Houston is absolutley awful on the road, they never capitalize on anything, that team is a joke. I'm just mad i didnt take the under lol I cant believe your actually goin to take SD tho.

I used to use BetJam religiously, and I thought I cashed it all out. I forgot I had carryover since their limit on withdrawal by check is 3K.
