Just yesterday, the Astros enjoyed knocking the Pirates completely out of the whole race (absolutely no chance now for Pitt). They're going to come out flat here probably, and while I hate the Astros, I love the value on the home dog off of a win on a Saturday.

Most of the big sports forums don't encourage that sort of thing. Understand that lots of revenue is derived by affiliating Sportsbooks on a shared loss revenue basis (when you lose the forum wins money).

How do you know if somebody is affiliating a sportsbook? Simple. Just hover the mouse over is and see if the URL is a direct one or a URL with something like 'id=####' 

Why can't sportsbooks just put up regular honest advertising? Simple too. Because we're so good at losing. lol
