The "Tribe" to me is the Pirates of the AL. Both these teams have been fun to watch all year, and turning a profit for bettors. They also have another trait in common, both are 8-1 after a loss.
Cleveland is also 8-1 on the RL following a loss, although a chunk of those were at +1.5, not -1.5 so don't get too excited. Either way they take losses personally, and work hard to bounce back.
In this particular game I think they'll have even more juice than usual. They've won or split every series this year, except their last 2. Both otr @ Atlanta and St. Luis. Going 2-4.
They sit 1-1 currently vs the O's in a 4 game series. Winning today guarantees a split, and they can win the series tomorrow. The AL Central has all of a sudden become a strong top heavy race between the Twins, Guardians and Tigers.
No slacking off today, avenge yesterday's loss, go for the series win. You don't want to drop 3 straight series ever in baseball.
There's not much to not like about Gavin Williams. Good #'s vs this lineup as well.
O's fans, please tell me what the hell is going on with the starting pitching staff? Why did Kremer start the year in AAA Norfolk when he's been a staple to their rotation for a few years? He wasn't bad at all either. Then Povich and Young get recalled before Kremer, recently. Despite Eflin's elbow injury.
How do you feel about the Chris Bassit and Shane Baz additions? Those guys look like shit.
With all that being said, Dean Kremer has not looked good in AAA. After his call up he looked decent vs the D'backs when it came to walks n strike outs. But gave up 3 home runs. He has not been generating the same ground ball to fly ball ratio of years past. So to me, the O's had to of seen something wrong with this guy to dump him down to the minors. In lieu of guys like Bassit, Baz, Young and Povich.
Good Luck
