LMAO at the mlb network commentator saying after the yankees went down in the 5th "well this is now an official game" for all the gamblers that bet yankees ml lol

Not exactly. Seeing that rain was scheduled from 7 am until tomorrow, and they found this little window, if rain comes again, the game will most likely be done as it probably won't stop anytime soon.

Why does everyone think commentators care about gamblers? The reason he said that is because it matters for these teams. They want to get this game in so they don't have to reschedule later in the season for a double header.

Not really. 2 Hr's are the difference. There first run was an oops hit. Only way laird can get one I guess.

He has thrown less then 50 pitches through 4 innings.

if i got nyy ml for game and the game get cancel and det win first five inning...do i lost my nyy ml for game as well?

I agree Sparky but I just thought it was funny...but it wasnt an mlb network commentator it was the YES network broadcasters.

Yes, he will not hit .365 and his defense is subpar. Like I said, very good player, not great like Mauer or a Longoria or Pujols etc...

My bet of CC striking out 5 batters is pretty much looking bleak. If you can't strike out Everett, Inge, or Laird. You won't strike out to many other tigers.

Yes unfortunately for you that has happened to me several times but if that happened today luckily i would be on the good side for once...good luck with the rest of ur plays bro.

You say defense is subpar...but he'll still be in the running for a gold glove. His range isn't good...but the fact that he doesn't make too many errors, and the fact that a lot of people talk about his glove...ANDthe fact that he's a known guy and gold gloves are usually given to more well known guys or guys with the reputation for winning it...there is a good chance he wins it and that would help him out.

i think its pretty stupid to make a game offical and reward a team thats leading to win the game due to rain delay or cancel game..esp when the score is close . I sorta never understand why is that a rule in mlb..why just delay and continue the next day

For a 2nd basemen he has a good arm. Could be a shortstop with that arm but like you said he is limited on his movement.
