"GOD SENT ME TO THE YANKEES."

i saw a movie not so long ago , where some black dude was getting interviewed after a basketball game, and he made 3 / 21 shots , and 0/5 at the FT line...and his side lost by a small margin..and his post match interview was

" i just wanted to say ,..." GOD , fuck you" for not giving me the talent to be a better baller ,.and for making me miss all those shots....and making us lose tonight "

i am an atheist,.so i don't give a shit about religion ..but why successful people always praise god for all the good stuff in their life,..but never blame him for all the bad shit ,..it's a form of hypocrisy that some people are just too damn ignorant to admit to.

oooohhh...... can't say anything bad about god,..may get upset..

just keep praising him and thanking him...but never criticise.

i like Teixeira ...he came through for me ( and the Yankees ) countless times this year ...but i don't believe all the god talk...

life is so much simpler when you just accept that god is a myth that people invent to try and  make sense of good and bad things ..when really....good and bad stuff happens to everyone ALL THE TIME....

i suppose 5 years from now , when Teixeira ends up at some shitty , no hope club,....god will have a say in that too ?

if there were a god ,..you think he'd/she'd  give a shit about where Teixeira plays ,..or whether Bush goes to war.....or whether Beyonce wins a grammy ?
