It's all about financial discipline . Success Has little to do with picking winners, actually picking winners is the easiest part of the whole process, most bettors have great ability to pick winners. They're problem is they cannot control the amount they wager per game

This really touched home! I went on a very sick run between sports betting and playing poker very recently. Had over 4k! The most I have ever had in my account and I started with $100 I needed this money for me and my family to say the least real bad. But no, I wanted 5k, I wanted more. To make a long story short I lost it all in two days. I really hope I can read this once in a while again and learn something and apply it to my life. Very well said thank you for sharing.

The issue is that even if this degenerate goes on the win streak of his life for a month, he is going to bet bigger and bigger until a few losses gets him so tangled up emotionally that he lets it all ride simply so he can get back to where he was.

^ This right here summed up my situation.

I also appreciate someone that has been around for a while posting something like this. I probably fall partially under the bet too much category even though i bet very little. Sometimes it's good to read reminders to keep it in check! BOL to you moving forward.

Tbh guys. If you are finding that the discipline and patience isn't there. Just quit gambling. It takes a lot of discipline and a huge time commitment. No point in gambling if you're not gonna do it right.

Gambling is just like any other drug or pleasure in moderation. Some people can be satisfied betting 50 bucks a game; and others eventually need more of a rush and start to bet higher wagers. Most people will pick a winner, win 50 bucks and still be mad because they "could have won more if they had just risked more." So the next time they do it they lose and they are mad. Listen to each his own. Worry about you. Moderate yourself. You don't walk up to obese people and tell them you should stop eating so much, you should eat in moderations like me. Same thing. Don't tell others how much to eat or not eat. Just worry about you brother.
