Got to give it to AJ  .. I def thought this would be a lot higher scoring game for both teams... As much as I have always hated Pedro he has pitched great!!

That's the reason it was done. When Jeter gets on, the 1st baseman has to hold him on, leaving a hole between 1st and 2nd where Damon likes to hit the ball. Sometimes it moves Jeter to 3rd.
