Phillies have lost 8 in a row and Cubs have won 8 in a row BUT Phillies are favored on the road

I'm trying not to be a homer about this one so if you're not a phillies or cubs fan would like to hear some objective reasons who should win.

Who is the fav and who is the dog is 95% based on the pitching matchup.  I doubt they factor in how many games a team has won or loss in a row.

In this scenario regardless of teams

I side with home team

6 guys with career averages over 0.25 versus Philly pitcher opposed to Philly with 5 guys in same scenario

I fade all teams with 3 losses in a row until they win and same with 3 wins in a row...I take team u til they lose

For Sanchez to get roughed up like this, the league should be on alert to the Cubs offense. 

All their hitters are in a groove. Especially with Bregman finally waking up.

I had Cubs with a slight edge, but not enough to play. I think the problem with the line is that Sanchez is overvalued, by a lot. Two good recent performances, but he also has his weaknesses. Definitely not a savior by any means. 

The Phillies score 2 un earned runs on an error. This could be the break they need if they pull this one out.
