Those sorry Pirates hitters tossed in the towel tonight even earlier than they usually do. They quit  after stranding two in the bottom of the 3rd. They finished the game 1-21 with only a bloop single to center that led off the 8th. There wasn’t a Pirate among them who was interested in prolonging their at-bat. They swung at crap and no one hit the ball hard.

 

At the last minute I bet over 6.5 -110. I hate overs. Always have. Big lifetime loser on overs in all sports, which is why I try less than ten each year.

I had under 7 full game for $2k. I was debating hedging when you posted and in hindsight should have. I thought my bet was toast by the 4th. Glad we both won!
