Oakland / New York Day Game

Question

This is what I am thinking.....Some people are keying on Oaklands day record....Yes they have a great day record but guess what the yanks have basically the same record.OAK Day Games 30-13NYY Day Games 32-15Another point I want to make is Dallas Brades in coming off pitching a complete game vs. Texas where he absolutely pitched outstanding.....but he threw 120 pitches on 8/28....so he has had 4 days rest after a complete game and now he&#x27;s gotta take the mound to arguably the hottest bats in baseball.OK OK OK I know CC doesn&#x27;t have great numbers against the A&#x27;s. I say it doesn&#x27;t matter....CC faced the A&#x27;s twice this year and is 1-1 with a 2.30 ERA.Some may think betting the A&#x27;s brings a lot of value, which they may be right.....but I cannot get off the fact CC obviously undefeated at home, may win the CY Young this year and how solid the yanks are offensively. It is just really hard for me to see anything but the Yankees rolling today.Comments.....

one more thing....the yankees are probably the best in the league at running pitch counts up....what happens if braden throws 105 pitches after 6 or 7.....

I am just asking for someone to talk me out of betting the Yankees RL

I came in this morning ready to go with Yankees RL too but then I saw all the A's love and started seeing the value in Braden. I'm probably going to pass on this one but it is hard for me to bet against the Yankees, at home, in September, in a tight playoff race, with CC on the hill no matter who they are playing.

No one thought the Yankees would do much against Cahill either.

thats a good question king i am not sure man. to find that out i guess i would have to go back game by game for the A&#x27;s.Oakland is 27-40 on the road overall tho so it cannot be that greatThe Yankees had no problem beating up Cahill and they have been hammering left handers, the more I look at this pick the more I like it.....if the team plays at their potential i see a score like 6-2 or 5-1

Braden in the 2nd half:5-2 2.37 ERA, 0.96 WHIP.... why would anyone wanna lay -200 against that?It&#x27;s ok to lay off the game and not bet it all guys.

Ok...so Sabathia counters with a 3.25 ERA and a 6-2 record since the break and allowing only 27 runs in those 8 games. DO I think the Yankees can score 4? This season they average over 10 runs a game. SO yes. Braden is good and I've seen Sabathia have off games but I think a very small amount on CC is how I'd lean...and on the RL. Might as well since it so rarely comes into play for the Yanks. It did yesterday so what are the odds it will again today? ANd if you go small, then what's it matter? Just gives you something to watch and root for. BOL to all who take them.
