No reason to get excited
The thief, he kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke

That hot pitcher has an ERA of 6.00 in his last three starts. I’m a Mitch Keller fan from way back, but this has been a difficult stretch for him lately.

I rarely go in other threads but you're not a rookie! Hats off :) 1999, I thought mine went back.....If I was plus a lot more with book, I'd bet more on Oakland and a couple of others....Vegas gave enough gifts this week and I feel strongly Oakland loses by 1 :) lol, betting on it anyway so I'm pulling for you....Knock!

49 yrs playing and only followed 1 play in my lifetime...Wayne Root the first year he posted his plays on FNN network, late 80's I think....His plays that year matched mine 90% maybe...He had a huge play on the Redskins and I followed.....I didn't like the game but bit, last time I followed any play....It was a loser and my buddy paid $50 for the play at the time.....I'd say we match about 60% now but I haven't changed, he has a tad......You posted what you like, you owe no one anything :) I'm out for the night as ill check scores after midnight, Knock!

Throwing a no-hitter in baseball is one of the toughest feats in sports — now imagine someone doing that on acid. This is what happened to the Pirates’ pitcher Dock Ellis. On Friday, June 12, 1970, the 25-year-old Ellis took to the mound against the San Diego Padres. Ellis had reportedly visited a friend in Los Angeles the day before, and used LSD multiple times. Thinking it was Thursday, he took another hit of LSD hours before he was supposed to pitch. Upon being reminded where he was supposed to be, Ellis flew from LA to San Diego, and arrived 9 minutes before he was supposed to pitch. And, even though he reportedly couldn’t even feel the ball, he went on to throw a no-hitter. Catcher Jerry May even wore reflective tape around his fingers, so Ellis could see the signals he was throwing. Ellis later recalled, “I could only remember bits and pieces of the game. I was psyched — I had a feeling of euphoria. The ball was small sometimes, the ball was large sometimes. Sometimes I saw the catcher, sometimes I didn’t. Sometimes I tried to stare the hitter down and throw while I was looking at him. I chewed my gum until it turned into powder. I started having a crazy idea in the fourth inning that Richard Nixon was the home plate umpire, and I once thought I was pitching a baseball to Jimi Hendrix. Who, to me, was holding a guitar and swinging at the plate.”
