Sparky, here is your answer. if this is true the A-rod home run would not even clear the old yankee stadium wall as i stated before.


Field dimensions and playing surface

The field dimensions for the outfield fences have the same distance markers as the original facility prior to closing yet the dimensions are not identical.[28] Due to the design of the right-field stands and the inclusion of an embedded manual scoreboard, the right-field wall is an average of 5 feet closer to home plate.[

Well we're not playing in a game of inches here. But like it's been said time and time again, if the Yankees can do it...why couldn't the Angels. And you said the Angels couldn't it...so they lost. We're on to game 3 now...can we get off that topic please? Didn't we just put to rest the whole Joe Mauer situation?
