1. Baseball - Detroit Tigers - runline -2½ (+260)
for the entire game held on Apr 10 at 12:05pm [pending]
M Moore -L must start and R Porcello -R must start for action

Not only do I like the Tigers to win this game I love them to smoke the Rays. Porcello has been solid this year in spring training. I believe Moore will have a good game but his pitch count may become high with this experienced and potent Detroit offense.. Here are some good trends for this game as well, the Rays are 1-7 in the last 8 meetings and 0-4 in Detroit last year. Prediction Tigers 7 Rays 2

got tigers -109. was thinking the same thing after watching the sox series. these guys are ready to feast on opposing pitchers at home this summer

Rick Porcello is 4-7 with a 6.04 ERA in 14 career April starts.

I seen that stat Mountaineers but I am throwing them out the window. Porcello has good stuff and he's a great ground ball pitcher. He's still very young but I think this kid will have a terrific season. Its a fresh start for him and no better way than to pitch at home to reboot his confidence

Are you going to also ignore Porcello horrible stats on lefties and how TB can throw 7 left handed batters out there today?

Think about it, Detroit just rolled over the Red Sox and now at home only -105
something seems off there

Tigers struggled vs Lester the lefty (yes I know its Lester) but now comes in another lefty and one they never seen before

To think that Porcello is only 23 yrs old and has been in the league 5 yrs is comical. This kid is a solid 3 or 4 starter with the experience THIS yr to live up to the hype that he garnered out of high school. I wouldn't bet against the Tigers unless they bring back Brad Penny and even he was a .500 pitcher with last yrs Tigers lineup...this yrs lineup???? I would try to find a better game if I were to even try and figure out when this tms lineup AND pitchers will all have an off day together. The other day Scherzer had a terrible day, so the Tigers put up 13 and refused to lose. Good luck to anyone who tries messing with this tm right now.

Ya I will throw those stats away. This kid (Porcello) has too much of good stuff for lefties to be hitting him this hard. Tampa is not a great scoring threat and they will have a tough time in Detroit facing a team who is hitting everything right now. Just look at Sunday where they were down 10-7 I believe in the 9th to come back and tie it. Tampa had a travelling day as well while Detroit sat back and enjoyed time with family and friends.
