I prefer to write things off in a hurry and get the pain over with. Those of us who put ourselves through this every day should look for ways to keep our stress levels in check.
I wrote earlier this morning that the last three times the Orioles lost at home by a score of exactly 4-0, they fell behind each time by at least 3 runs and each time they came storming back to win. Maybe I should have expected the awful start.

If the Yanks lose...does the other trend against them kick in for tomorrow or is it a double reverse type of situation?

The trend would apply to Sabathia's next start. I prefer to follow the trend that indicates a play against Sabathia following a game he wins in which the Yankees supported him with that least 5 runs. I just couldn't bet on the other trend today, the one that indicates a play on him if the Yankees supported him with less than 5 runs in his last start.

So do they have to give him 5 runs and WIN to bet against him or LOSE to bet against him...or just 5 runs in general. I don't bet against the Yanks often anyway just trying to get it down pat for a situation where this happens and they face the Sox or Angels.

This is what I wrote in Jim Tressel's thread this morning:
While it's a fact that the Bronx Burners are 0-8 behind Sabathia after they scored at least 5 runs in his last start and won, it's also true that they're 8-1 behind him when they scored less than 5 runs in his last start.

dead on, there must be a dozen posters with at least 5 aliases all contradicting their plays or giving themselves a pat on the back when they win a few.Anyone with less than 100 posts is probably an alias of a numpty.

This isn't abuse, Crowkillers. I'm rather enjoying Lockpicks00's obvious pain and frustration. He was counting on me to be right about Baltimore and I wasn't. Meanwhile, he didn't follow me on the Angels and they're going to trounce the Twins again today.

Usually aliases of posters that have been here for years with 10K posts and don't want to blemish their true names.
Must be a miserable existence to sit around and insult other people cause they are more intelligent then you are. Whatever turns you on I guess...geez...
On the other hand nice play yesterday wit dem Yankees Mr. Bator...
