Here is why you DON'T question him.
1) Estes has come on here out of his own volition and posts his bets. He isn't receiving renumeration. He does it out of the goodness of his heart and everyone tailing him has benefitted from his kindness.
2) He doesn't owe you, me, or anyone else a damned thing. The man has proven himself. He obviously has reasons why he came up with this play. Why should he have to take the time and explain it to you?
3) I can't speak for estes but as a former professional, I never gave away my secrets and methods. you should be extremely grateful that he is giving you his picks. I cannot believe how many idiots bug this guy ans ask the same retarded question "any plays today?". He always posts if and when he has them. I can understand asking if it is a split schedule and he forgot to mention whether or not he has late games but he usually tells us this.
I'll tell you right now. If I were him, I'd only post in my covers space and not allow any idiots to post there.

And THAT was well-said. You hit all of the important points. Thankfully, 95% appreciate it although at least a third of them are incredibly annoying either bashing or asking stupid questions.
When I was living in Nevada and doing well, several people I knew used to regularly ask for my plays. I was happy to do it and what an ego stroke that somebody respects your luck/ability to risk money on your opinion. Anyway, many people came up to me one morning and told them the game I liked. When I went to bet it myself, the line moved against me! Never gave out the info again until I was down.

I gotta admit I didn't like that under play on the Braves game. Didn't like the over either, just couldn't take the under. I always seem to be on the wrong side of 7.5 totals.
