The Rockies have been competitive all season in these getaway day home games when their opponent is going for the sweep. Thing is, the opponent is never fired up because they’ve gotten bored with beating up on the Rocks in the first 2 or 3 games of the series.

The Phillies did, too. They completed a 4-game sweep with a 2-0 win. The Dodgers finished a 3-game sweep with a 3-1 win.

The Rockies +2.5 was offered by many books for each of those games as the runline option.

 I agree they lost in a bad way last night.  Shouldn’t the Dodgers be bored with the W. Sox plus you know they partied hard last night and feel like crap today.  They celebrated Kershaw and the 9th inning comeback.  I think they lay down.

Their lack of effort and focus nearly led to an embarrassing loss on Kershaw’s big night. I think the White Sox will have their attention tonight.
