Well, St. Louis and Cincinnati jump out on paper as having the best chance to win tomorrow.  These plays look almost too obvious though.

My model has the Cardinals (-266) and the Reds (-220).  Can't be this easy though, can it?


The game that really peaks my interest is Pittsburgh at Houston.  After the public pounds the Pirates line into the sky, Houston will have excellent value.  I have this game capped at Houston -117.  The Stros rank #19 against righties and the Pirates rank #26 against righties.  The advanced numbers have a slight edge to McDonald, but nothing significant.  Looks to be a pretty evenly matched game... never a bad thing to be on the home dog in a coin-flip game.

Thoughts on these three?

GiL - thanks buddy, interested in your thoughts on the Phi-Atl over.  I haven't looked, but like to hear what you're seeing.  Initial lean to the Phils there.  Love Kershaw in the bounce back, weighing whether the under might be a better way to capitalize tomorrow.

si1ly - been pouring through your stats, great stuff.  Houston jumped out at me.  Somewhere along the way Lucas Harrell became a formidable pitcher, now 11 out of 15 starts with 3 earned runs or less.  Looks good on paper; looks even better given he plays for the punchless Astros.  I'm trying to decide if JMcD is going to continue to struggle or if he is poised for a correction.  Lean under here, but only slightly.

I'm staying away from the Cards, still looking over the Reds.  Maholm is dealing right now, tough to bet against him at that price.
