I understand that but David Price was also on the mound for Detroit. Tylor Lyons is no David Price. Also, Cleveland line is now -117 Indians +107 Detroit. Back in the favor of Cleveland

Fader clev has moved to -117 that line is somewhat where we kinda like it as this is the same line SF/NYM had and the mets won with the -117 line idk but it is 1-0

So I just picked a opening line and back tested it for the month of June. I took the line of -145.

When a team opened -145 according to this site it didn't matter which way the line moved or how much public was for it or against it the team that opened with that line is 10-2 in the month of June.

Today according to this site 3 teams opened -145.

Boston
L.A. Angels and also Houston. 

I think it matters more where it opens than where it closes. If you just look at the closing line you will end up getting basically 50/50 both ways from what I am seeing. 

Be interested to pick some more opening lines and see what the results are. Obviously this is a very small sample size so doesn't really mean squat yet. 

Just thought I would tell you guys what I found though so far.
