MLB Line Experiment

Kribag, Yeah I had mentioned it real quick the other day but we need to watch it more as I am not sure it gives a good enough win percentage.

I noticed some  other games after watching them where it didn't seem to matter as much in that scenario but would be good if someone wants to track it some more for awhile or back test it to see. I wouldn't recommend anyone play it yet until we have better numbers on it as I would hate to see anyone lose money without something we have more numbers on.

The numbers I am showing for the Pittsburgh/ Cincinnati game if they stay where they are  could possibly be a play on Cincinnati runline +1.5. Will have to see what happens up until a few minutes before game time.

Yeah mine as well. I was going to respond to your message but should be back up in a few minutes I imagine. They might be doing some maintenance work or something. 

Try a different browser as that happens to me often.

Tampa Bay and Cubs both opened up as -117 favorites on the site I use and Toronto won as the underdog so that would make the Cubs a play if you are doing the opposite thing. 

I understand that but I am basing everything off of opening line numbers. It seems you guys are basing them off of closing lines numbers. I have never based them off of closing numbers only openers. 

Closing numbers are all based on what the line moves to based on either the public or sharps making the line move with money which is fine but I would rather base everything off of what the sportsbook puts out.

I actually put together my own system for picking games that doesn't just take into account going opposite of opening lines. It can take that into account but I have just added to it and it doesn't have  to take that into account.

You have to have the opening lines for it but then I have been tracking each opening line for the whole month of June since the 1st of the month and writing down what teams do with each opening number depending if they are at home or away and if the line moves with them or opposite of them and also if they had public money on them when the line moved with them or opposite of them or if they had no public money on them when the line moved with them or opposite of them. 

So based on all of that criteria that is how I have been getting these records or "situations" and how I would have picked the Angels today but got busy working and wasn't able to post it. So the "situation" the angels were in today is 8-2 for the month so if a team is in that situation again I know to take a play on it because at the moment it is hitting 80% of the time.  

That is how I am getting most of my picks besides also incorporating d41reds system into mine at the same time. We are basically using two systems to come up with these picks.
