SG004 - I think Kennedy has been pitching just as good as Oswalt and there's no doubt that Arizona is the better hitting team. In the Astros last 7 games, they have scored: 1,1,1,2,2,4 and 2 so I guess you are banking on Oswalt to allow 2 runs or less. Doesn't seem to be a lot of margin for error.
Vincenzo - my friend. ARod and Posada banged up certainly helps Matusz but:
Mudpie - Wash is struggling against righties. They are 32 points lower against righties, 61 points lower in slugging% and have an OP that is 96 points lower. They are a heavy right handed team and Kawakami is a killer on right handers allowing just a .205 average to them. I think the Braves are better than people think and Livan is doing it with smoke and mirrors.
JDukes - SD is a no play for me......in fact, I hope Colorado wins as I like Clayton tomorrow
Jimmag - I didn't even notice until u said something. Thanks. I lean towards the Angels but Lester has really looked sharp the L2.
Andy 88 - TB was only 30-30 last year against left handed starters and their numbers this year are weak against them.
Hitterno - I am on the Phils so I certainly lean that way for the F5. That's good for you b/c I am wrong all the time on Cards' games.

Absolutea - I will consider line movements but as a value bettor, if I am doing a good job, I should be on the right side of the line movements a majority of the time as the market should correct itself before game time.

On Toronto myself as Cleveland's production comes from the left side and Romero has been dominant against lefties. 5 quality starts in 5 outings for him this season. Jays are hitting too. Better bullpen as well. Home advantage a non-factor except the last at bat, that's about it.

those split stats are rather meaningless at this point of the year game, don't you think? shouldn't you be using career numbers for splits for each player (with regression to mean)

I seriously doubt he is banking on the Phillies pen to outperform the Cards pen to win his bet. If he took anyone in the 1st 5 I am speculating it would be Philly.
