Funny thing about Talbot is they made a tremendous Bordeaux wine (French) 1990 which I had about 12 years ago and all I can say is: Ummmmmmmmmmmm Buttery!!!
But seriously a wonderful finish with a velvety tone and a bit of Boysenberry rolled into it ever sooo smoothly with about no tannins! Just Unreal! Unforutnately even 12 years ago was going for $105 a bottle and I bought 3 (1 turned ).
Weird thing is the recent Talbots are much like this pitcher: Blah!
That 1990 was the sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DiverRon,you might have missed the fact that Talbot is now making fancy ties,which sell for 40-60 bucks,so yes they have let the wine business go downhill.We used to sell it years ago in our dining room,but that was quite awhile ago,easier to make ties,

If your talking about Robert Talbott ties, they sell for twice that amount.

Aramis Ramirez is horrible this season. How the Cubs get 1st and 3rd in the 9th with no outs and can't score is beyond me!
