MILWAUKEE - SAN DIEGO - explain this line pls

total was set at 8

we had two garbage pitchers

- milwaukee starting with relief pitcher with WHIP 2.25 and ERA over 11 in last 3 starts
- correira close to beeing garbage as well and out of form

we had two VERY decent offenses, both teams hitting righties .300 in last 10 games

we had two teams with a lot of pitchers on DL and 2 horrible bullpens lately

Milwaukee scored 26 runs in last 5 games (over 5 per game) and San Diego 32 (over 6 per game)

why the fuck was total THAT low and game is still going WAAAY under? What the f*ck did I miss?

Padres Suck, the easy choice here was Milwak.

padres are on 5 game winning stream

and it still doesn't answer my question

what did I miss by betting on over???

One thing I learned quickly is that it's always a risk betting overs at Petco. Probably as risky as betting unders in New York.

park definition doesn't influence both offenses beeing TOTTALY invisible today against 2 garbage pitchers

You miss that the Padres lineup SUCKS, and on any given day they can come out and not score runs, and that would be the norm. They score runs only because they are professionals and have above average talent, but as a major league team, their line up might be the worse. Being upset that the Padres arent going over is like being upset that a Yankee game at Yankee satdium is going over. Look at the line up and explain to me why the score suprises you? You stated that we have two decent offenses. If you call the Padres offense decent, can you please show me a line up that you call mediocre?

Nothing wrong with the line.  That is about what you get at this ball park.  If it was two good pitchers  the line would be around 6.5 or 7.  Don't worry, you aren't the first sucker to fall for a "seemingly" low total at this ballpark.

Why not? If a shitty pitcher throws a bad pitch in New York and it gets knocked out of the park, there's no guarantee that the same pitch will get hit out of Petco by the same batter.

As well, a crappy pitcher will look like Cy Young at least once per season. This might be a case where BOTH crappy pitchers are doing it.

I have to agree with this guy,how can you only get 2 hits off a worthless relief pitcher in 5 innings?

actually, it was ONE hit, both teams had together 2 hits comming into 5th
