Davies is our worst starting pitcher here in KC so this line doesn't surprise me that much. Plus someone mentioned that Kawakami hasn't had run support at all, so i don't really see what the debate is. Look at the Royals' road record, then look at Atlanta's home record. There are more factors to a line than just pitching. KC stinks, they have for a long time.

Which is bizarre considering the Braves had scored the 2nd  most runs in the league and are only a single run away from being tied for first.

he hasn't been THAT bad. look at his era, whip, peripherals...certainly not good, but he's not an 0-9 pitcher, which is more of a product with run support.

in any case, the person who pointed out that pattern is digging wayyy too deep. have fun with that "trend." it's less of a science than astrology.

Of course not. But people might be saying, "WOW look at the price I can get to fade an 0-9 pitcher".

Royals r  5-1 staving off the sweep this year in 3/4 game sets.

Of those KC is 3-1 doing this on the road
