When you lose everything, constantly chasing, bet your whole paycheck just wishing to win it back, start contemplating suicide and whatnot, gambling is a sick disease….

I consistently find myself turning a winning day into a losing day. I’m always turning a marathon into a sprint. One way that I’m battling that is by having 2 websites. I began with $25 and the goal each day is to increase the balance 2% each day. It’s teaching me patience. I’ve been doing it for around 3 weeks now, taking heavier favorites.

Gambling is a crazy grind. Sometimes it just feels like everything if a half point loss, a late comeback or bad luck losses. Thats why bankroll management matters so much. Past week I have had bad losses. During the past 10 months I had a period where for 3 months I could not win to save my life. I went back and forth and in that time only lost a little but it was crazy. Even when your winning if you have a bad day or especially week or longe you feel lost. I have 6 times the bankroll I had 10 months ago and I am extremely frustrated at times.

Like others have said, all you can do is keep your head up and keep on keeping on. We’ve all been there most of us on this site, or are there now. Sometimes it’s best to step back for a week or more and get your mind straight(but sometimes we just can’t do that for multiple reasons). And when you have to have the money is when you’ll never hit it, gambling.
baseball is a long season don’t be chasing, pick one or a few games and if you hit or lose, don’t chase it and don’t try to double down that night, we can get away with the old drunk night bet occasionally in football, but you can’t do that 132 games during baseball season or it will bite your ass. Always set a limit don’t go crazy high on one game. don’t blindly follow nobody on here or anybody…. do your own homework and make sure that you like the bet you’re gonna bet. Usually it’s not smart to take one solo team for -200 and above juice. if you do put it in a small parlay with another team, if you can move your point with your bedding site, take them down to one or play the run line if it’s a team that usually wins by more than two for plus money. we’ve all been there. I can remember one point in my life, my local bookie got every paycheck for about six months and that’s a bad feeling, especially when he’s sitting there with this shit eating smirk on his face every time you walk across the bar to pay him once a week. Baseball is streaky, find the few teams who were winning consistently at that time and ride with them. Hang in there man….![]()
