I really, really hope you didn't put your entire bankroll on the cards today. If you did, STOP GAMBLING. You're going to kill yourself.

This will be the trickiest game of the playoffs, more twists and turns than a roller coaster.

Thats the "book" on how to beat Doc.....he's almost always around the plate 1st pitch........I see it first hand as a Phillies fan.....it usually is the best approach

at this rate the cards need to get halladay out by the 6 or 7th inning if they could do that they have a shot carpenter is looking like he did when he faced houston in the last game of the season

In a normal regular season game, I could see your thought process.....its not the right way for the Cardinals to go about it IMO.....if he's rolling, he'll throw 130 pitches tonight, it doesn't matter.....they need to try to get runs off of him, not get his pitch count up

and Cliff Lee would most likely replace him anyway.........he's not a bullpen stiff

They "got" Halladay last game in an inning too....and tonight.......whatever, all I'm saying is just trying to get Doc's pitch count up in this game by taking 1st pitch strikes is a stupid plan
