the other reminder that everyone needs, as per my earlier post, is that it’s MLB and should always be bet with caution.

One isolated action by a single individual can win or lose a game. No other sport is like this. It’s why we love and hate it!

That's right. I put this trend to the test against the best team in the American League, and indeed they were good enough to overcome it. I learned after the game that the Yankees and the Phillies became only the 3rd and 4th teams to ever to record 40 wins before the month of June. That is hard to believe. So that had happened only twice before in MLB history, and then it happened twice this season?

then when Judge hit that third inning 3 run homer I knew bet was over (which sadly it was with the giants Single A offense)

Good for you, MIZARD. Maybe today you'll find another thread containing someone's losing pick and you'll be able to go in there after the game is played and mention that you bet on the other team. In fact, maybe we can start referring to such an act as a MIZARD.

This is directed at Pompous pricks like ViennaAraenal dude. Listen up ! Based on your reactions and tirades it is obvious that you are a sore loser and your experience is limited in gambling. No one forced anyone here to bet the Giants+1.5 but if you’ve been around this site long enuff you know that the main reason Bator posts is to share and help the forum which he’s done countless times. Additionally I’m sure he is a long term winner which 99% of gamblers cannot say. But on top of it all he is a Gentlemen and that my friend is something you cannot teach. So stick around sit back be quiet and maybe you will learn a thing or three

Also appreciate the kind words in the NBA thread.  Love to know your thoughts on finals.  My head says Boston but the way Dallas plays on the road might make it tough on Celtics after a long lay off.

      It would be nice if there was a part of the Forum where you could only comment on things if you have been on here at least 10 plus years 

To the Covers community;

Wagering regularly and posting it puts a 'mark' on you.

I've been here 19 years...Mr. Bator , Mac Westie, Covers 34, Marcig , 2 Legit,Badlands , Chitown Jake, , wizerguy, Estes, and many others regulars like Me post because we are trying to win and win regularly.

If a 'regular' loses 1 or 2 or even 5 in a row, cut him or her some slack especially if your point of view is over a whole season , which it should be.

Bator is a Thinker, a Sage...he's not for everyone , nor am I.

We take the long view...but know their is reasoning behind our wagers.

That's why I don't post 10 plays a day or NRFI...its not for me.

3-5 wagers is generally enough..

Running Mitch, ur absolutely right, that's why it's called gambling.  A guy takes time out of his day to share his research with us, gives us a pick, that is OUR CHOICE to play, who has been doing it for awhile now,  and totally wins more than he loses over a season, and loses one game, and people bash over it, or makes rude comments.  That's y the great ones leave, or don't take the time to share, bc it not worth the bashing. So, I agree about they should have a forum for people, that have been on for awhile, and who appreciate the time and effort, to help people do the samething, and win money. Mr.Bator, Ur a great dude, and appreciate u and ur picks. U've been doing it for awhile,  and I appreciate the insight. 

The more you post the better.

Don't worry about the bashers.

In the end everyone is responsible for their own bets.

Personally I like info better than anything but picks are also good.

 Well said my friend and few people put their ass on the line only to get ridiculed by guys who dont have the stones to make their own plays. We all know MCR loves to play big faves but usually does very well but if he loses one which doesnt happen often, idiots take their shots. That being said, the good cappers know how valuable you and bator are to this forum. Keep truckin bator, youre more valuable then ya know!!
