your right about the 50k, but I have dropped 2k many times in Vegas without "approval"

I couldn't have said it better myself. I would also like to note that in every sport, sometimes the games are rigged. If you don't believe me, you are a compelete idiot. If you had to chose sides, bet againts the public and side with the books.
Tim Donaghy. Pete Rose. Jucied baseballs, umpires being paid off, point shaving scandals, and even 100 tennis games over the last 5 years being investigated for fixes. Black Sox scandal, I think in 1919.
Follow how the books move their lines, they are more powerful than the sports organizations themselves.

Stack thanks man. That is some good info.I agree with everything you said about that game. This is my weakest sport so it takes it a little longer to register.I use SBR and do have a basic package with sportsinsights.I am going to watch this game and see what happens. One question - in your opinion what books lines do you monitor?

Your write-up was awesome for all to read and learn from. But we are all here for the same reason, learn, make money and share our thoughts and for some, share our new-found systems, so why wouldn't you share your big secret which you declare works for you. Forgive me and I mean no disrespect, but I think that statement to be rather arrogant and selfish.

Your are right. Something I failed to mention is that the larger books like Pinnacle and Bookmaker will release their lines first and the smaller books will adjust their lines according the action received by Pinny and Bookmaker.
I forget the name of it, its either a cowboy or cavalier line, where the books will offer a line to some wiseguys before they release it to the public. Pending the opinions of these bettors, the books will adjust the line then send it out to the public.
In relation to the Colorado line, its possible a wiseguy liked Colorado thus making a small line for NYM trying to attract action on them first, then relying on some big bettors to take Colorado to balance the action.
Books rarely balance action, and because of that, they will shade opening lines to the perceptions and betting tendencies to the average bettor. The advantage we have is that they can't make a "true" line cuz they know they give too much value to the sharps.
But I will again say, people are fooling themselves if they believe some games aren't fixed. We as bettors don't know which ones those are but, soft lines and late and hard reverse line movement could indicate which games those might be. It has worked for me, but again, can't follow anything blindly.
Gotta draw your own conclusions from it and again this is just my opinion on a way to handicap games.
