WORLD SERIES CHAMPION SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS ...has a nice RING to it huh? BWUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
GIGANTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
somehow??? They went 11-4 in the postseason and put on one of the greatest piching perfomances in playoff history. Thats how! No respect for this team, they didn't get it during the playoffs and their still not getting it by some. Why are they the worst team to win it all? Because you don't follow baseball closely enough to know some of these guys? They won 92 games this year in a pretty tough division. The Phillies won 5 more regular season games. What about St. Louis in 2006, they finished 83-78 and went on to win the world series??? Was that team a better champion?
Keep watching ESPN and parroting everything you hear...

Yeah, Giants sure were lucky.
Every time Tim, Cain, or Bum pitched, the other team didn't score......................pretty lucky!

Totally agree with u. I'm an A's fan as well, and it was awesome to see the Bay rocking. Hopefully the A's will get this kind of support if they can make a stellar postseason run in the next few years (with likely the same formula, pitching and timely hitting)...

Saw it on ESPN just this morning: Sleeper pick to go to Series next year-Oakland A's
You can't name any of the hitters, but they have 5 starters under 27, and they're pretty good. Can they make the giant steps (no pun intended) to advance to the Cain/Tim level? Tune in 2011!
Congrats Giants, and go A's

Just get tired of reading shit like that. I still don't know how you can say they were an average team. Did you know that they had the 5th best record in all of baseball, 2nd best record in the NL??? How is that average? Over 162 games they finished within 5 games of from the top. They had the best pitching in all of baseball and they were 8th in batting average out of 16 in the NL. So they were an average offense, but thats about all they were average in.
It is your opinion, but you're wrong.

You do not have to be the best, just the team that wins the WORLD SERIES this Year.
Congratulations to the SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS,
