Hunter Pence to the Phillies?

They want 3 of Montero, Banuelos, Betances, Romine and Nova. Unless that is cut down to Montero or Romine and Nova...than Ubaldo can stay put. He's overrated. He's worth the risk if it were that 2 for 1...but he's not worth Banuelos/Betances...imo.

The way I see it is that, if the Yankees want to acquire a pitcher...he better be more productive than Colon, Garcia, Burnett, Hughes AND Nova or it won't make any sense to give up a prospect. Why trade a prospect for a #3 guy? It better be a least a #2 starter.

Felix won't be traded...but he's the only guy I'd give up the farm for. Really no interest in Wandy, Kuroda, Bedard, Harden, Lowe or Harang. Wouldn't make sense, imo.

Because of how Lee pitches in the postseason. See what he did last year against the Giants? That was lightning in a bottle. He's one of the best postseason pitchers we've seen...no doubt it my mind he's shut them out at least once, if not in both games.

I don't get fans sometimes. Nothing personal to you...but I saw so many fans saying "World Series" when they signed Cliff Lee. Now there's doubt because of their most recent series? Go into a postseason series fresh with a 1-2-3-4 (whether it's Oswalt or Worley being #4) against the Giants and the Phillies will win.

Jesus Montero has to be the most overrated prospect in baseball.

He doesnt have a position and is posting a OPS under .800

Brett Lawrie is a year younger and is hitting around 70 points higher and has a OPS around 300 points better.

Not saying Lawrie is bad...but saying Montero is overrated is a bit much. Can't really call someone overrated until you see what he can do in the bigs. I think he's just lazy. His 2nd season in Triple-A. He was given the starting catcher role at the end of last year for 2011. Hell...he was even brought up to be in the dugout/clubhouse and the end of the minor league season just to see what it was like. I feel bad for the guy. He's not helping himself...but I feel bad for him.

No offence man but when your calling card is "hitting" and your posting a .280 avg and a OPS under .800, then I really dont understand all the hype. Its even worse when his defensive skills are worrisome and people dont really know where hes going to play at the major league level. Im not saying hes not a good prospect but hes nowhere close to as good as some lead you to believe. His power this season has been rather underwhelming.

I like your pitching prospects, both Banuelos and Betances will be studs, but I feel all your catching prospects Montero, Gary Sanchez and Romine are quite overrated.

Sanchez is waaay too young speculate with but he's supposed to be the best of the 3.

Romine is a defensive first catcher.

Dustin Ackley is supposed to be known for his offense and he didn't post an OPS over .800 last season in the minors. You can't grade Montero simply on this.

Ackley posted a .908 OPS this season with a batting average of .303

Through half a season he posted a .908. What about last year? And the year beore? You're picking seasons that benefit you. Montero had a great year last year and, as I said, he got lazy. You're throwng out everything he did before this season. It's not like he forgot how to hit. And lets not forget that there were talks about moving Ackley to the OF. Montero is a catcher...plain and simple. It's not like they've every had a great defensive catcher before anyway.

The guy can hardly catch in the minor leagues. His defensive ability at the catching position is horrendous. Hes way worse then Arencibia in this area and even JP is struggling bigtime at the MLB level to play the position. I can almost gurantee longterm Montero is not a catcher.

So how exactly are the Yankees going to fit him into the lineup with Texiera at 1B?

David Ortiz is a pretty affective full-time DH.

When is the last time a top prospect was relegated to being a DH at such a young age?

You might as well trade him to a team that needs a 1B, like Colorado who will be in need once Helton retires.

So he can't catch. He shouldn't be limited to DH. He's not a 1st baseman. So why not just ship him back to Venezuela since there's no reason for him to be playing baseball?
