Some may think that and obviously it's true that they would probably win about 90% of the time. The problem with that is he's a waste there on the 5th day if nobody can step up to be as dominant. Did you see the matchup against Beckett where he won 1-0? Thats him at his best and if he's healthy, thats what he's going to give the Yankees for years to come.
Another thing to note. Why was Joba still around when the Yankees got the pick? It's because he has history of shoulder tendinitis and he ended the season on the DL because he got it again. Some teams think he wasn't worth the risk. Now the way I see it is if he gets hurt due to shoulder tendinitis again THIS season, put him in the bullpen for good no matter how good he is because he won't be consistantly affective in the rotation if he can't handle the innings with that health issue.

The poster who bashed Burnett as a number 3 and Joba as a five clearly has no clue. You can count on one hand the number of guys w/ the stuff Burnette has, you dont lead the league in K's w/ weak stuff, and he's a 3...Name me one other team who has a 5 w/ anything close to what Joba has? This staff is the best in baseball..clearly.
