Pitch count doesn't mean shit in this game. All guts in the pen and a lot of adrenaline to stay alive.

Buck an Mcarver keep bringing up pitch count.

Ranger pen is is gassed too.

Pitch count is relevant to those of us that have the over and look forward to tired starters and/or depleted bullpens getting pounded thus yielding more runs.

Fox comparing Verlander to Ryan was a complete joke...now we see why. Justine had an awesome RS, but is/has been vulnerable when it counts the most. 
Current #s in post season are 1.56 WHIP and 5.71 ERA (2006 &2011).

it is comical that Buck is announcing the pitch count on every pitch in an elimination game with the clubs' Ace on the bump........as if he expects him to come out at any moment


he may come out soon, but only after giving up 3 runs
