Dave Roberts is the worst... he always makes the wrong moves. Now the players have to bail his ass out. What an asswipe...

Not last season. And I'm not defending him. A five year old could manage this roster with their billions wasted chasing World Series. When you pay that kind of money you need to use them until you can't. Last season it worked. Bullpens are rarely consistent in production season to season. Just the way it is.

That's why I would have a few specialty arms (have to go at least three batters) maybe one designated closer and the rest long arm relievers who can start or relieve. They say everyone wants to be a starter but what is a starter anymore in MLB? The way pitching staffs are handled now increases the randomness of outcomes. Makes no sense to give a starter billions to go 5-6 innings every fifth day. Unless it's Ohtani who can hit a la Baby Ruth. My two cents peace_5
