Big papa - I agree with you. Although as a Yankee fan it hurts a little. But the Tigers deserved that series, they were the better team.
Congrats Detroit and Best of luck in the ALCS.

good job tiger fans... 3 rd base coach of new york should be fired for holding that guy at 3 rd.. could of been the difference and bases loaded twice with 1 out in 5th and 7th...but yes fister and sherzer shut them down... was really hoping valverde was gonna choke.. hate that guy... and beniot what a stud....

Better team won.

20-6 in September including a 12 game win streak.

Yanks fucked around in Tampa, bad decision heading into the postseason.

You think about how they lost a seven run lead late in the game in Tampa. This would never happen in the postseason, they just didn't care and got comfortable with the home ground advantage.

Well done to the Tigers.

We were dying to face your (injured and OLD)team in ALCS instead of having to face Verlander and that perfect CLOSER despite not having HF advantage. Then you say you want to sign our current BEST pitcher CJ. I assure you he ain't all that. Scouts consider him a very good "2" starter. Trust me you can have him if you want to shell out the cash because I asure JD and company aren't backing up the truck to pay a pitcher who got shelled 9-0 opening the ALDS.

Don't hate on the Rangers, they did nothing to you guys. They have finally learned how to build a first class organization from the VERY top to bottom. How can u not like a team whose ex-cokehead mgr says about the Great Game "If you play it right(BB), it will treat you right." In reality, I would only rather have TB mgr Joe Madden. Anyway. as long as the BB dream team(PHIL) don't win, everybody should be happy. There is only going to be 1 winner and hopefully, this will be TEXAS year.

ARod didn't hit, but he was not alone..............

Call me crazy, but I really think the weather cost the Yankees. Everybody I knew was talking about Verlander vs. Tubathia pitching games 1 & 5-a matchup we only got to see once due to the rain in game 1.29

Can anyone tell me why Girardi lets Tex bat 3rd for the entire fucking year, and then decides to put his best hitter (Cano) in the 3-hole during the playoffs? Reminds me of Torre. Never pitches Rivera in the 8th inning during the regular season, then during the playoffs, he's a two inning guy..........huh?

Derek Jetah has lost more than a step. But I guess when you hit .297, nobody cares.........

I know you will be rooting for Tigers at the start of the season next year. The Tigers open at home next season against the Red Sox. Hopefully, they start 0-6 again or worse.

I think it's ironic the little league field the BOMBERS play on was the cause of their demise. That pop fly Kelly hit would of been an out in any stadium, save Boston and New York. Then Young doesn't get a meatball down the middle because of frustration. Basically the whole gm is different if the field is of normal size. Then, playing on the field of irony, Jeter couldn't quite lift it over with his pop up in the 8th....(I'm sure the fence will be brought in during the off-season). I just like the fact a utility player who didn't make it to the majors till he was 27 was the hero of the biggest gm of the playoffs up to this pt.
