Just got on the site and have been following you for a few weeks now -- I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work. Its much appreciated.
I've bet on sports for a while, but now am trying to really understand the stats -- build a model (for MLB, as well as for NFL and the NBA). Any suggestions on books or articles to read? or info on how you built your model? You got a math background yourself?
Anyways, thanks for the write-ups. I'll be riding with you tonight and throughout the rest of the season.

Sort of looking at it as are the Padres going to beat Cain and Lincecum b-b on the road and are the A's going to beat Colon and Sabathia b-b on the road? Both home teams dropped their games last night so I look for both to bounce back with wins at home tonight. Also that SD-SF series is only a two-gamer.

But then again, if a couple of them go our way, then the profits would be even higher. With that being said, I love this parlay tonight and fully expect my 'parlay' record to go to 1-4 this year.

Big pitching discrepancy in starting pitching as Wandy Rodriguez has been dealing lately, while Cook is way past his prime. Houston is averaging 5.6 rpg on 11 hits per game in their last 5, and I expect this to continue in Coors Field tonight. Colorado is only 14-26 in day games this year and I like Houston to avoid a sweep here.

Evening Bodio....I haven't missed many of your writeups and have most definitely benefitted greatly from your words of advice on sound betting strategies, and will work on reading the 3 books you've recommended.
I like your lean on Arizona today and and contemplating playing...curious as to whether this will make your playlist tonite and if not why.
