Perez is a hard throwing righty and that seems to be kryptonite to the Giants. I would expect Ray to pitch well, but the Marlins grind out AB's. They walk, they steal bases and manufacture runs (everything the Giants don't do). I'll take the scrappier, younger team that got a boost to their lineup with Stowers back. I agree with the line movement.
A's +113 (Springs/Gore) listed // $100-113
I think I'm backing the better pitcher with the hotter offense at plus money with the A's. The A's got to Gore last year in Washington when he gave up 12 hits and 8 earned runs in three innings. Two weeks ago, he couldn't get out of the 4th inning against them. Talent only takes you so far. Maybe there's reason the third overall pick is on his third team in five seasons. Somethin' ain't right. I'll back the old lefty in Springs in the hopes that he bounces back off his only rough start of the season.
