ump averages close to 8 walks a game and tonight 3 base on balls and really one was a for sure pitch around.....it does look very fishy when and ump all sudden goes out of the norm

Strike 1 & 2 on heyward were off the plate.  No frikin way those are strikes.

If you want a good laugh take a look at some those called strikes to braves batters

some of them were litterally a foot off the plate.

They lose one on the road to a team that is 39-20 at home and the phillies lose at home to a team that is 22-36 on the road.

Well it's the Braves fault they always are backed into a corner and need to pull a miracle out late.

Try playing from ahead for a change and let the bullpen take care of it.

This team will get smoked in the playoffs assuming they make it.  You just can't put that kind of pressure on your pitchers and bullpen and expect to win night after night.

The worst of the game was that called strike on Mac.

That ball was litterally a foot off the plate.

Yeah its hard enough to do it with the umps calling a fair game. But trying to make a late inning comeback with the umps against you? Not fucking likely.

I am frankly more mad at the fact that a pinch runner coming into the game with two outs didn't score on a double.  If that is how fast you are then you really need to stop being a pinch runner.

Lee needs to be removed out of the cleanup spot ASAP.

I have no idea what Cox is trying to do with him in that spot.

I'm surprised he wasn't waved home, but the ball got cut off quickly and not a hit that anyone could score on from first without a terrible relay

Right now the Braves have the best 1,2,3 hitters in the NL. It's insane to have an automatic out batting "clean up."

And even if he thought the play at the plate would be close, with 2 outs and a .240 hitter on deck you have a higher chance of scoring if you try for it.
