they signed him to a 3-yr deal so the rest of the league now has to worry about facing the "AAA" threat,   Altuve - Alvarez - Abreu,  that's one scary inning for any pitcher.  Then if you get by them you have Bregman - Tucker - Pena .

 Which do you think is better at the moment.. Phillies  or Astros ??

There's a lot of great plate discipline in that lineup, high BA's, high walk rates and low strikeout %.

It will be tough to navigate for any pitcher.

This was a smart signing. That’s a scary lineup. 

Astros have a great front office.
