@SharpBettor: What does the past have anything to do with the present in terms of who is a better team this year? Yes, Milwaukee got swept but like I stated earlier they lost today by one run and had one of their aces play his first game of the year in the previous game.
@ Straightshooter: Guess what? I got my stats off Covers and it's real simple. Go to each team's home page, average out their offensive and defensive stats and they are both very similar. Like I said earlier I'm not just looking at ERA and Batting Avg. I'm looking at the 5 main categories that make up their offensive and defensive stats. Yes, Atlanta has a much better pitching staff at the moment and good pitching stops good hitting most of the time. All I said is that they are basically the same team and the statistics back this up. Your putting too much emphasis into one series in May. What did I do today? Click on my profile and you can track me on the MLB contest. Your the one that is looking like a dumbass out of this. You assume because my profile is new that I'm new to betting and covers. I

I post stats based on X. And by posting stats based on Y, you somehow think that disproves my stats based on X.
I’m not putting too much emphasis on anything. I’m just asking for you to back up your ridiculous claim that the Braves and the Brewers are “basically the same team.”Thus far you came up with their records being similar before the Braves swept them so that means they must be the same team.
I was just giving you the benefit of the doubt that you were simply new to sports betting and weren’t borderline mentally retarded. My mistake.

You must not be able to read and comprehend. My reasoning that Milwaukee and Atlanta are basically the same team is based on statistics first and foremost. The fact that we are one month into the season and their records are still very similar backs this up. What part of this do you not understand? Atlanta has better defense (pitching) but a worse offense. Read this part very carefully. They rank 14 in Runs/G, 20 in BA, 19 in OPS, 5 in HR's, and 30 in SB's. Milwaukee ranks 21 in Runs/G, 10 in BA, 12 in OPS, 9 in HR's, and 21st in SB's, overall Milwaukee's offense is better. When you average their offensive and defensive numbers they are both very similiar, hence my statement that they are basically the same team. They just go about it in different ways. All you do is keep bringing up your flawed part of the argument that Atlanta's offense is better when it clearly is not. If your talking about Runs/G then yes but that is only one part of the equation. There is no use arguing with a fool when is he too stupid to know he is one. I'll see you around the threads, good luck with your picks. If your feeling lucky, you should keep track on your profile and we can solve this very easily once and for all.

How someone as stupid as you can operate a computer is a fucking mystery. According to your own stats Atlanta is ranked 14th in runs per game and Milwaukee is ranked 21st in runs per game, yet you claim Milwaukee clearly has the better offense.
Newsflash: an offense is ultimately judged by how many runs they put on the board. Hitting is important, but it matters little if those hits fail to produce runs. Perhaps you are unaware of this, but games are decided by how many runs a team has. Not by how many hits.
I’ve been a member of covers for almost half a decade and I can safety say you are one of the biggest dumbasses I have ever encountered here. And what makes it even funnier is you think you are coming off as some sort of sports betting guru when in reality you are nothing more than an ignorant noob that is making as ass of himself.
The Braves and the Brewers are “basically the same team.”

Straightshooter, I have followed Covers for longer than you have been a member. I've also read through your posts history and they just make you look worse. You have so many and yet the quality of them is so bad. Atlanta has scored a whopping 16 more runs than Milwaukee but has also played two extra games. If you take away the last series they actually had two less runs scored than Milwaukee so it appears your putting too much emphasis on one series and one offensive statistic which is exactly my point. There isn't much that separate these teams and the statitistics, and records back this up. Run along now rookie and if you can't hang with the big dogs stay on the porch!

I think Toosharp has a point. How can one team be that much better than another when the season has barely even started? I think that's all he meant when he said they are basically the same team. Atlanta did dominate the last series but if Milwaukee had a little more timely hitting and if Greinke had a few more starts under his belt they could have easily got the split.

You’ve been following covers for 5 years, yet decided to join only a few days ago? Sure, kid. Sure.
Like I said: I posted two winners yesterday. What did you do besides join the site, start acting like you a sports betting guru, and make an ass of yourself?
So I go by your stats to make you look a fool and then you want to change the criteria. Funny how that works.
You’ve been here a day and have 9 posts under your belt yet you’re a “big dog” here.
At first I just felt sorry for you, but this is just too funny watching you embarrass yourself.

Don’t fall for Toosharp’s straw man argument. He first said the Braves and the Brewers are “basically the same team.”Not that they are similar in how good they are, but that they are “basically the same.”
I called him on it and now he is trying to change his argument to “the Braves aren’t that much better than the Brewers.”
There were quite a few if’s in that last sentence. Also considering Tim Hudson pitched a complete game 1-hit shutout, it didn’t much matter what Greinke did. The Brewers were going to lose that game anyway.

You just don't get it do you? Your telling me that Atlanta has a better offense than Milwaukee this season based completely on runs per game correct? And yet that is only because of their last four games, lol. You do realize before this series they had almost the identical amount of runs in almost the same amount of games? I'm using your criteria and making you look like the fool. And if you use my criteria my statement is correct. I think your missing my entire point of saying they are basically the same teams. When I made that statement I was considering more than Runs per game in offense and more than Era in defense. If you look at the five main categories for each team's offensive and defensive stats and average them Atlanta's number is 13.05 and Milwaukee's is 14.3. That is very similar would you agree?

It’s amazing how you could be so moronic as to believe simply because two teams had similar records before one team kicked the shit out the other in a 4 game sweep and they have one or two similar stats that proves they are “basically the same team.” Seeing as how you are clearly new to sports betting, such ignorance is to be expected, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be called out on it.
It’s blindingly obvious you are nothing but an ignorant noob that’s been here a day, but consider yourself to be bigger than rush. You have a lot to learn about sports betting, kid if you don’t want to continue to be a bookie’s wet dream. Take some time off to educate yourself.
Since you only have only been here a day and have just 10 posts under your belt, you might want to consider scraping this account and starting a new one because you have managed to embarrass your exponentially more in 10 posts than the vast majority of people here do in 1,000 posts. Of course, if you’re going to just going to act in the exact same idiotic manner then don’t bother.
I have indulged you long enough and when you keep exposing yourself as a dumbass (claiming you’ve been here for 5 years but decided to join just yesterday, you’re a noob but are a “big dog” around here, etc.) it takes some of fun out of exposing you as a dumbass myself.
Your actions have clearly demonstrated that not only is your knowledge of sports betting directly proportional to how many posts you have and how long you've been here, but to your overall intelligence as well. At this point demonstrating how you are a delusional moron with his head up his ass is beating a dead horse so this will be the last time I post in this thread and the last time I read it. Please, feel free to continue your mindless rants and keep embarrassing yourself until your heart is content. I won’t be wasting any more of my time reading them.

1 run in 17 innings vs. the Braves and you got Braun/Fielder at the heart of that lineup? Hudson and Beachy are decent but should not be shutting you down like Christy Matthewson and Walter Johnson.
Sad, sad squad. Sad. Someone needs to pray for you because I sure as ass ain't gonna.
