Going 1-15 is as difficult as going 15-1. However, it is a little more harsh on the wallet. A semi-feral chimp throwing dung at a dartboard should go 8-8 over the long term, but don't let that challenge stop ya
The semi-feral chimp has nothing on the starvation motivated cephalopod!!!

I just read this thread, it was quite amusing. I am not going to bash you, but whether you had a good day or a bad day is irrelavant. If you are in here to contribute some insight on handicapping, you need to understand that books try to balance the action. This doesn't make you the books opponent. It's bettor vs. bettor. You may get a line at +150, the next guy at +140. I wager on Pro Football, so getting an early line can be the difference in winning and losing. If you release both sides of a play, your credibililty will be gone. There are times when you can play both sides, but you need line movement to do so. This is why it is good to have a solid early wager. You may get the opportunnity to hedge or middle your bet. Your way of selecting games reminds me of horse players that wait till the last minute and if they see a big drop in the odds they play it. That type of playing will get you shut out alot and it serves no benefit for anyone in here. I am very open minded when it comes to systems, so maybe you can find a way to establish your plays early and when you get the move your looking for, rate it higher or lower than a regular play. And one other thing, if you are using only the line movement to base your plays, it will not hold up over a season. good luck to you.

i know you came on a little too strong, but seriously, i don't like anyone getting beat up especially when it's about money..if you really lost that much scratch, i feel for you, if you just came on without actually playing any action and just for the hell of it wanted to kick ass with your skills, well you got your just rewards, regardless best of luck..would it be too much to ask if you could put your payouts next to your plays, i.e. +1xx, if you're playing for real, hope things turn around for you..

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw this thread. Read some pages of it and didn't really bother checking except for your last posts and most of them lost...
You also are not a pro if you study baseball for a few months. I have been watching, playing, and analyzing baseball for years and still have my off days. So don't just come in here and think you are the best capper around
