Today is interesting.....4 picks; but 2 high-juice faves that are pretty obvious. Depending on your method of gambling, you might want to play RL (-1/2) to lower the juice or play a 2-teamer ML parlay as one bet.
ATL w/Smoltz looking for a Cy Young award already and with an offense hitting 100 pts higher than WAS
ARI w/Webb and the best offense in the Majors vs an 84mph fastball and a team that can't hit very much. Better outing from Zito last time against ARI...but why shouldn't Webb be better also?
SD w/Peavy who knows that he has to hold HOU to as little as possible because SD doesn't score very much. Backe is letting men get on base and score...which SD needs
NYM w/Figeroa...13 K's & 9 Hits/Walks in his 2 starts this year...might have finally learned how to be a control pitcher with the Metsies....Lilly has shown nothing so far and the Mets are hitting 50 pts higher vs LHP L10 games...might be worth playing a dog runline if the number is good....
