 Novice here, how do calculate units with MLB ML.  Example for today my book has -184 ATL & Fish +172.  You like both but at 2 and 5 units.  What would your wager be?   Seeking knowledge.

Based on his $100 per unit, with a min-max at 1-20 units, his wagers on the Braves and Marlins would be as follows with your lines: 

Braves -184.  Risking $368 to win $200

Marlins +172. Risking $500 to win $86

I believe that was what you were specifically looking for.

I corrected my original reply as the third digit  “0” was left off unintentionally (Damn I-phone).  

At +172, risking $500 to win $860.  At +175, risking $500 to win $875.   I was simply trying to give the novice bettor application of money to odds as he requested.
