With that being said...I'm not sure how to make a "worthwhile" hedge.....but honestly....this is the last amount in my acct. anyway....for be to hedge I would have to deposit more money....

If I was stupid rich...is there a way that I could still win 20k by hedging? It seems like I would have to start a new parlay and have it include USA in all of them.

A DRAW IN SOCCER IS NOT A PUSH, ITS A LOSS IF U HAVE A TEAM ON THE ML, UNLESS U PLAY THE DRAW. SO IF JAPAN DRAWS, U LOSE UR BET, I HOPE JAPAN WIN FOR U.

well you can still bet like 10k on usa at even money and 5k on the draw at +250.

if usa wins at even money if you bet 10k on them you end up winning like 4k overall on the draw bet and your parley ticket.

if bet 5k and its a draw at +250 you end up winning a small amount maybe 1k or so. that including your parley bet at 800.

if japan wins you end up winning like 25k.

worst case its a draw and you make out with like 1k or so. maybe more just doing this off the top of my head

THE SAME 4 TEAM ON SATURDAY PLUS USA ML= 5 TEAM PARLAY.

 

THE ONLY PROBLEM REMAINS IS THE 4 TEAM PARLAY....

 I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH AS IT WAS....SO FUCK IT I THINK I'LL JUST TAKE THE LOSS INSTEAD OF TRYING TO HEDGE WITH TWO MORE PARLEYS

I would just put a straight bet down on USA to lift the cup as a hedge bet because then the only way you could lose if it went to extra time and Japan won in extra time or penalty kicks. If Japan wins in regulation you win your parlay. If the USA wins in regulation or extra time or penalty kicks you would win also.

The only way you would lose if is Japan won in extra time. I think if Japan is going to win it will be in regulation. I think it it goes extra time then the USA will win anyways.

If you are going to hedge at all this is probably your best option because it reduces the amount of ways to lose. No matter how you hedge now you are going to have some risk somewhere but this option gives you the least amount of ways to lose.

CONFIRMATION FROM A CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL THAT A DRAW WOULD BE A LOSS IS BELOW.

 

In regards to  the first selection in the five teams parlay, if the game ends in a draw at the end of regulation time than your wager would be a loss.  Please bear in mind that for the wager in question it there were odds provided which gives the option for  placing a wager on the draw line therefore if the at the end of regulation time the game is at a Tie and your wager was not placed on the Draw line the wager will be a loss.  If the wager is placed on the draw line and at the end of regulation time the game ends in a Tie you're wager would a winner.

Straight bet hedge is the way to go.  Don't hedge with a parlay... good luck, buddy.  I hope for your sake you win it, but as with many other Americans, I'll be cheering for the other side.

you're not even understanding what is going on...I was responding to the fact that he kept asserting he could still win money if they drew.  For that to happen, his +275 would have to be a PICK, and I simply said that there was no way he had the win/draw at +275...jeez.  Let's leave the issue.

i would bet 10k on usa -105 and 5k on draw +230, either you make around 10k with USA win in regulation or draw, or 25k with Japan win in regulation

That's why I hate betting on soccer.  If you would've took Japan +0.5 then yes it's possible to hedge.  Since you took Japan ML therefore USA ML would still lose if a Draw results at 90mins.
GL to you but how the hell you took Japan..   If it were the USA Men's team then I would understand. but women's... come one.

Thanks I value your suggestion....unfortunately...my acct balance is zero and this is the only pending wager left....so I would need to deposit more money Sat. morning.....

As I said before...I'm kinda insane when it comes to gambling....and so if I lose 800 for not hedging I will not be pissed for NOT hedging...but pissed for losing the damn parlay.

To me a hedge is only worth it if I can mininize my chances and still win at least half of the 40k.

I actually took both in two separate parlays but the other parlay lost tonight....check prior post in this thread.....so I'm left with this bet....I would actually expect USA men to beat Japan though....according to some in the soccer forum...Japan is a better team....so I'm not mad at the situation.
