I will be posting Futures and Regular Season Wins wagers here. I locked these in already:
Boston Red Sox UNDER 94.5 Games -110 (5dimes) Risking 2.75 units to win 2.5 units
Chicago White Sox OVER 78.5 Games -115 (5dimes) Risking 2.88 units to win 2.5 units
Houston Astros OVER 74 Games +115 (5dimes) Risking 2.5 units to win 2.88 units
San Diego Padres OVER 71.5 Games -110 (5dimes) Risking 2.75 units to win 2.5 units
I'm still shopping around for Divison and WS prices. Seeing a lot of value in the Mariners to win the AL West and the Padres to win the NL West. Thoughts? If you guys find some good prices let me know.

The Padres to take the NL West? Are you nuts don't do it. I'm sorry that you locked in on OVER 71 1/2 too. This Will be the worst team in baseball. I like the Sox under 94 1/2....don't know about Houston or Chicago either.

With a healthy Peavy and Young, (As long as Towers doesn't trade Peavy halfway through) they should hit the 70 plateau mark. I really think Gerut and Headley will have monster seasons. They may not win the West but this team will definetly finish ahead of the Rockies and Giants. With a division that can turn easily with just 1 injury (i.e. Brandon Webb or Manny Ramirez), laying a unit at 13-1 has value. I'd like to get it at somewhere between 15-18 to 1 odds though.

dont even know if i can honestly respond to this garbage im sorry i know your not suppost to bash but unreal
At least have the decency to bash me when the season is over. If I had told you that Tampa would win 97 games before last season you would have bashed me then too. And I'm not predicting 97, 87, or even 77. I think the Pads have enough to win a measly 72 games this season and could possibly surprise people and have an outside shot at the division.

That's the thing though. If the Padres are out of playoff contention (which will be very likely) Towers will trade Peavy for some prospects. They already know they can't afford him and have already tried shopping him around. You said it yourself that if they trade Peavy you're screwed. GL man but I see the Padres as a 100 loss team myself.

Sorry WhiteR I don't think they have a chance either. Even 72 wins look tough, thats only 9 under .500. AGon is a stud and even if Kouzmanoff and Headley have big years the rest of the lineup is enemic. Peavy and Young are a formidable 1-2 but its very weak after that. The bullpen is avg at best. I agree its a very weak division and major swings can surprise everyone, but only the giants may give them a run at the bottom.

WhiteRusssian I think the Blue Jays UNDER 80.5 is a great buy. Tough division, and their pitching is real bad1 Thoughts?
I like the play a lot, however, at the Greek the juice is -200 for
under 80.5 wins and at 5Dimes you pay -145 for under 79.5 games. I
would have absolutely played this, but I was too late to catch it at
under 81 with standard -110 juice. If you can get under 80.5 at a
reasonable price it is a great play IMO. But because I was not able to, I
supplemented with a play on the Cardinals -2.5 games vs the Blue Jays
which was a play against Toronto AND a play on St. Louis as I think the Cards will go OVER their posted win total this year.
BTW if you get find a good price off-shore, let me know what book you got it at.

BOL WR. Looking at the season totals and player props is on my to do list this week. I typically play 4-6 per year and have done pretty well. I'll post my plays when I have them

Thanks for the find , however I no longer place wagers at sportsbook.com as I had found their customer service to be unbearable and gave up on them 2 years ago. Ideally I would still like to get a number at 80+ wins for the Jays to put a couple of units on the under. If anyone finds anything, please let me know.
Wilterdink, as of the past 2 weeks I'm looking at player vs player prop matchups. I only see a couple that interest me. I'll post if I lock anything in. Which I may do later tonight or towards the end of the weekend. Looking forward to see some of yours'.
By the way, do any of you Minnesota Twin guys have any info on how long Joe Mauer will be out for?!!...looking for some reliable sources now.
