OBER (Twins) pitched very well....no ER, and only 4 on base! regardless the final score.
His tenuous consecutive game streak without a BAD outing stretches to 9
Heavy Home Favs (HHF = -170+)
lost on the juice Wednesday going 2 - 1 ....
but one of the wins was by only one run,
so had we bet all 3 on the runline, a large 1 - 2 loss for the day!
Tuesday was even worse, 0 - 2 for big losses!
Monday was 1 - 0
Yankees and Mariners are HHF today....
Recommend caution (including RL) because HHF are a BIG loser on the season
HHF lost bigly Thursday with a 1 - 1 split, but.. the YANKEES loss was at -235 (closing ML) and while my MARINERS moneyline lean did win, it was only by a single run, so those of you who play HHF thinking the RL is a safer bet, would have lost!
Dodgers and Giants are the HHF today. CAUTION!
SKENES (Pirates)
is arguably the best starter in MLB this season! 
Discounting his first ever game in the majors on May 11 (ie, we should dismiss rookie jitters), the top draft pick, in his last 13 starts has only allowed 16 earned runs!!!
He averages 6.0ip per game but has only given up more than 2 BB twice! (3 each)
awesome .094 WHIP and an excellent 1.99 ERA!
...and he's actually better ON THE ROAD than home, with NO "BAD" outings on the road and Pirates went 5 - 1

By my count he has faced 5 teams that are pretty good vs righties; he only faced truly weak bats v. righties, twice; the others were mediocre teams

Make no mistake, this dude and others I will identify in the future are GOOD starters - some of them exceptional! HOWEVER, probability says "consecutive streaks won't last long"...All GOOD pitchers will have an "off" day and get roughed up - sometimes mauled - before they resume their stellar pitching performances again. It happens to the best of them. Just CAN NOT be avoided.
When??? We can't know that for certain but my stats over many years indicate the time to start to worry is when they reach SEVEN (7) consecutive outings without a BAD one in that bunch (at any point in the season) Sure some HOT streaks may continue for 2 or 3 more performances. It happens! But for me, I don't need the stress that his bubble may burst that day! There's other games to look at. I can simply skip those "STREAKER" dudes until *AFTER* their inevitable BAD outing, then resume looking at his starts after that!
